Children's Sunday School
Sunday school for children is offered during the Adult Sunday School class and meets in the Conference Room.
Teacher: Daneen Douglas
Recently the children memorized Scripture verses that started with each of the letters of the alphabet. They are now in the process of memorizing the 10 Commandments.
They learn about the life of Jesus as Daneen Douglas reads from her 1933 Ergermeier’s Bible Story Book which is a wonderful paraphrase for children. The book has been described by others as very biblical and accurate, and as a good alternative to the cartoonish Bible stories available to children today.
The children also sing, play biblical games and give prayer requests. Occasionally, Daneen will give Christian object lessons using science demonstrations.
Teenagers' Sunday School
Sunday school for teenagers is offered during the Adult Sunday School class and meets in the Narthex.
Teacher: Dr. Bill Watson, Elder, Man Under Presbytery Care and Intern
The teenagers are studying the Westminster Larger Catechism using Johannes G. Vos' book. Vos' commentary consists of questions and answers to help the teenagers understand the Catechism.

Explanation of the Symbol that Appears on the Cover of Our Worship Bulletins
It is a symbol of the Trinity based on Latin words for Father (Pater), Son (Filius), Holy Spirit (Spiritus Sanctus), and God (Deus). It tells us that Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are (est) each God, and that God is (est) each of the Persons, while each of the Persons is not (non est) either of the others.
