Rev. Ken Wendland

     Rev. Ken Wendland, Moderator of the Presbytery of the South and Pastor of Heritage Presbyterian Church (OPC) in Mobile, Alabama, was our guest preacher at the evening worship service on Sunday, April 10.  His sermon title was “What Does God Think About.”

     Rev. Wendland was in Florida visiting his parents.

 Rev. Ivan DeMaster

     On Sunday, March 6, we welcomed Rev. Ivan DeMaster and his wife, Carla, as they visited our church. .  Rev. DeMaster was the pastor of Bethel Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Lauderhill, FL from 1985-1993 and in 1993 celebrated the church’s 50th year anniversary with some of our own members. 

     Sunday evening Rev. DeMaster preached on the topic "Such a Great Salvation." 

Dr. Ross Graham

     On January 9th, Dr. Ross Graham preached on “The Church in the Age of the Harvest.”  Dr. Graham is the Coordinator of the Home Missions Committee of the OPC.  He reminded us that OPC members all over are specifically praying for our church.

      Pro-Life Message from Tewannah Aman

     Mrs. Tewannah Aman of Broward County Right to Life spoke to our congregation during the Sunday School hour.  She gave an exciting testimony on how God can use us to make people aware of the issue even though simple acts of holding up a pro-life sign.

"I was 18 when I got pregnant. At three months pregnant, I had an abortion. About seven years later… my heart  broke. I was so overcome with grief.  How could I have taken the life of my unborn child?”
